Significant investment reflects confidence in Gold Coast’s record-breaking tourism growth and evolving visitor expectations

Gold Coast, QLD – July 2025 – Tours and Attractions Group (Tours Group), the company operating with leading Gold Coast experiences Aquaduck, Southern Cross Tours, and Paradise Jet Boating, has officially opened two new purpose-built visitor hubs in the heart of Surfers Paradise at the corner of Cavill Ave & Ferny Ave.

With more than 20 years’ experience delivering award-winning land and water-based tours across South East Queensland, the Tours Group is now entering an exciting new chapter focused on enhancing guest experience, simplifying tour access, and contributing to the continued growth of the Gold Coast’s thriving visitor economy.

The new locations include a centralised Gold Coast Tour Desk, where visitors can access not only the Group’s own experiences, but also a curated collection of other local tours and attractions, creating a one-stop destination for exploring the region. Staffed by local experts, the hubs aim to provide a more connected and seamless booking process for guests.

“For the first time, we’ve brought all of our great brands together in one place, right here in the heart of Surfers Paradise,” said Chris Weide, Managing Director at Tours and Attractions Group.

“This isn’t just about convenience, it’s about raising the standard of what visitors can expect when they come to the Gold Coast. We’re proud to lead the way in creating a more connected, guest-focused tourism experience, not just for our own tours, but for the destination as a whole.”

As part of this operational development, Tours and Attractions Group has opened a secondary site, Paradise Watersports Hub. This vibrant new location now serves as the new departure terminal for Paradise Jet Boating and will soon be home to a brand-new tourism experience, Paradise Waterbikes, an exciting new guided aquatic adventure. Additionally, The Paradise Watersports Hub also offers guests the chance to book a variety of nature-based experiences on the Gold Coast.

The announcement comes as the Gold Coast cements its position as Queensland’s tourism leader. In the first quarter of 2025, the city welcomed 1.2 million overnight visitors, spending $1.8 billion, placing it #1 in Queensland and #2 nationally for holiday visitor spend. International visitation also reached 634,000 in the year ending March 2025, with strong growth from key markets including New Zealand, China and India.

As the Gold Coast continues to lead the state in tourism growth and innovation, Tours and Attractions Group is proud to support the city’s evolution by delivering seamless, story-rich experiences that reflect the region’s natural beauty, community spirit, and world-class visitor appeal.
